The Solution Architect/Security Analyst:

• Supports the system architecture, communication/data streams, and security of applications in assigned area of responsibility.
• Designs business processes and innovation change initiatives in partnership with the relevant local, global and/or central business departments with great autonomy.
• Facilitates delivery of IT services to process partners in assigned area of responsibility.
• Ensures strategic alignment with BMW Group core IT processes.
• Establishes strong partnerships with both business and IT process partners which culminates into the delivery of sustainable solutions to complex problems.
• Assists BMW Colleagues continuously through direct communications and project results.
• Supports agreements with business and support functions in assigned area of responsibility.
• Completes assignments with minimal direct supervision. Identifies and defines computer system security requirements in coordination with DevOps teams.
• Steers efforts to communicate guidelines and regulations related to group approved methods for data communication, architecture, and security.
• Engages with central and local teams to clarify and reinforce target measurables and impact of risks, vulnerabilities, and effort of remediation related to system architecture and security.
• Ensures practical application of security concepts and utilizes appropriate authentication schemes in the overall solution architecture.
• Guides the implementation of development services, utilizing the Agile methodology to develop product solutions and application support structures for on premise and cloud delivery offerings in assigned area of responsibility.
• Analyzes existing and future planned initiatives, short, mid, and long- term planning with prioritization of requirements based on local and BMW Group strategy
• Prepares, facilitates, and sustains the local business prioritization process and the input to the global prioritization process.
• Ensures effective systems change control, problem management, and incident management; thereby reducing risk, ensuring quality, and business continuity.
• Ensures the integrity, reliability, and reproduction of our internally and externally developed software products.
• Proactively ensures the IT security and compliance of both planned systems as well as existing systems under operational control in assigned area.
• Develops and manages project plans to include defining deliverables, budget adherence, key milestones and critical paths.
• Reports and manages risks as well as progress of Lead Sagas, Sagas, Epics and User Stories in assigned area of responsibility.
• Participates in efforts to design, develop, train, and deploy systems and procedures for assigned area of responsibility.
• Ensures target achievement is consistently attained in assigned area.
• Ensures that all aspects of information protection, data, and systems security pertaining to area of responsibility adhere to BMW Group Policies and architectures.
• Promotes the use of standard processes and solutions within assigned area of responsibility.
• Promotes and facilitates the use of the Agile methodology for all initiatives and tasks in assigned area of responsibility.
• Understands and models VPS (Value Added Production System) Principles and concepts of Standard Work and Problem Solving.
• Adheres to 5S and Safety Standards and Principles.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

• BA/BS degree in Business, Information Technology, or the equivalent of 4 years or equivalent success in an IT related function.
• 3 years of demonstrated success in IT or equivalent success in an IT related function.
• 2 years’ experience in a mid-level engineering role.
• 2 years of experience planning, analyzing, designing, developing, testing, implementing, operating, documenting and training of enterprise
  IT applications.
• 2 years of experience in implementing/configuring IT systems.
• 2 years of experience working in a customer service orientated environment.
• 2 years of experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• 2 years of experience with a variety of programming languages (preferably C/ C , Python, JAVA, HTML, JSP, J2EE, Abap, SAPUI5/Fiori,
  SQL, Oracle, UNIX/LINUX).
• 2 years of experience designing enterprise architectures with both on- premise environments (SharePoint, etc) and cloud environment (Azure,AWS, Openstack) preferred.
• 2 years knowledge of IT Infrastructure components including but not limited to; Operating Systems, Networks, Databases, Internet
  Tchnologies, etc.
• 1 years in IT Security Architecture.
• 1 years working in Agile projects(preferred).
