Job Summary
Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.
Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration, and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements.
Designs details of automated systems. May provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues. Has wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
Frequently contributes to the development and/or implementation of new technical standards and methods. Considered an expert in the field. Develops resolutions to complex problems that require the frequent use of creativity and where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Work is accomplished without considerable direction and/or coordinates activities of other personnel. Exerts significant latitude in determining objectives of assignment, and determines the methods and procedures needed for new assignments.
