Systems Architect is responsible for the architectural design, development, and deployment of an organization's overall IT systems. Designs systems to consider functional requirements, scalability, and security. Being a Systems Architect defines system solutions based on user needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms. Researches, identifies, selects, and tests technology products required for solution delivery. Additionally, Systems Architect establishes, implements, and documents technology integrations or migration strategies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Systems Architect works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.     Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Support the ZTA management team in recommending and creating technical solutions.
    • Recommend security requirements and provide architectural direction to improve cybersecurity.

    • Excellent interpersonal and technical skills.
    • Experience working with important stakeholders at all levels.
    Professional CertificationsCertified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
    Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Security Essentials Certification
    Years of Professional Experience10 years’ experience in cybersecurity
    Desired experienceRisk Management Framework (RMF), Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA), and FedRAMP experience

    Familiarity with: Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) frameworks, Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) (OKTA), Cloud Workload Protection Platform (CWPP), Security Operations Center (SOC) Operations, Vulnerability Threat Management, and Compliance
    Formal EducationMaster of Science degree (or higher) in one of the following: computer science, electronics engineering, computer engineering, computer science, information technology, or cybersecurity. 10 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
    Citizenship RequirementU.S. Citizenship required for this specific opportunity
    Security Clearance RequirementsMust possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI)
