Systems Architect is responsible for the architectural design, development, and deployment of an organization's overall IT systems. Designs systems to consider functional requirements, scalability, and security. Being a Systems Architect defines system solutions based on user needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms. Researches, identifies, selects, and tests technology products required for solution delivery. Additionally, Systems Architect establishes, implements, and documents technology integrations or migration strategies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Systems Architect works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Business Process and Product Owners to develop an in-depth understanding of processes targeted for automation, outlining impacted processes and business requirements
Lead process improvement initiatives using measurements, accountability, analysis, and discussion of process alternatives to arrive at best practices
Create value by automating processes
Identify and document best practices for ongoing process automation adoption
Process and analyze data to draw business-relevant conclusions
Write simple SQL queries for data analysis
Support business process documentation with business owners and SMEs across multiple teams
Maintain a strong analytical approach, coupled with a logical, disciplined, and structured approach to documentation and procedures.
Requirements
Demonstrable experience in the Financial Services industry, ideally with at least 3 years in a similar Systems Analyst role. Proficiency in Database, Microsoft tools, and MS SQL Server. Proven experience with Business Requirement Document and Business Process Design. Solid understanding of Computer Hardware and Configuration Management. Experience with Deployments, Automation Scripts, and Automation workflows. Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is a plus.
