Systems Architect is responsible for the architectural design, development, and deployment of an organization's overall IT systems. Designs systems to consider functional requirements, scalability, and security. Being a Systems Architect defines system solutions based on user needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms. Researches, identifies, selects, and tests technology products required for solution delivery. Additionally, Systems Architect establishes, implements, and documents technology integrations or migration strategies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Systems Architect works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.     Supported efforts across organizations, determining the needs of a range of business units and processes

    strong communication and analytical skills

    SAP certifications in one or more discipline (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate) and CompTIA Security certification.

    Strong written and verbal communication skills; Strong multitasking skills

    Expert knowledge in computer science and IT to research IT solutions and identify ways to enhance existing operations

    Supported SAP Basis management for all SAP components

    Desired Qualifications

    Expertise with cloud computing

    Experience supporting DoD SAP initiatives; specifically JPEO A&A

    Experience implementing business architecture models, providing systems process guidelines, establishing compliance architecture such as change control and metadata management

    Familiar with Microsoft .NET and SharePoint technologies.

    Key Responsibilities

    Design, build, and sustain new enterprise business applications based on functional requirements.

    Support unit, system integration and regression testing to verify documented system capability and operation.

    Support interfaces and/or modules in conjunction with variety of software projects to include Microsoft .NET and SharePoint technologies.

    Stay current with future technologies to respond to changes in business requirements or the SAP environment in order to identify potential gaps and propose solutions.

    Assist with data management, data modeling, business strategy, auditing and compliance

    Providing enterprise architecture leadership

    Improving the current IT infrastructure

    Tracking the progress of projects

    Documenting procedures

    Evaluating and implementing new technologies

    Collaborating with other teams to improve business processes
