Designs systems to consider functional requirements, scalability, and security. Being a Systems Architect defines system solutions based on user needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms. Researches, identifies, selects, and tests technology products required for solution delivery. Additionally, Systems Architect establishes, implements, and documents technology integrations or migration strategies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Systems Architect works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Qualifications
-Demonstrate experience and knowledge of survey techniques and procedures.
-Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as good judgment and organizational skills.
-Have a valid Driver’s license.
-Ability to drive/travel for long continuous hours.
-Ability to drive personal car when necessary.
-Ability to stand, climb and walk continuously.
-Ability to perform strenuous work in a varying climate (heat and cold, etc).
-Ability to be away from home for extended periods of time.
-Must have good computer skills and be able to learn survey related software / equipment.
-Working knowledge of AutoCAD / Revit is preferred.
-Architecture/design background preferred but not necessary.
Responsibilities
-Communicate with Clients/Brokers/Landlords to schedule site visits.
-Book travel arrangements and keep records of said transactions biweekly.
-Maintain communication/relationship with Clients until project moves out of survey phase.
-Apply standard surveying techniques in the field to plan and execute field surveys.
-Broad understanding and experience for operating surveying equipment – Faro scanners, Matterport scanners, flying drones.
-Prepare field notes and draw sketches of existing site conditions when necessary.
-Accurately records field data.
-Review, download, and process field data.
-Prepare detailed job reports and discuss projects with team leads daily.
-Maintain and troubleshoot complex equipment.
-Drafting and editing of survey existing conditions using Recap, Revit and AutoCAD.
