Being an Systems Consultant/Engineer (Pre & Post Sales) develops program and system specifications to meet customers' technical requirements and guide enablement, configuration, or coding of products and solutions. Provides technical information, requirements, and cost estimates to sales teams to use in proposals, quotes, and statements of work. Additionally, Systems Consultant/Engineer (Pre & Post Sales) creates and maintains documentation to provide customers with a reliable technical resource for product operation and maintenance. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Systems Consultant/Engineer (Pre & Post Sales) work is closely managed.     Position Summary: Our Outside Sales Representatives sell security systems to new and existing customers through both self-generated and company-provided leads. Our Outside Sales Representative ensures customer satisfaction.

     

    Job Duties:

    Outside Sales Representative will:

    • Generate leads for new sales.
    • Meet with existing and prospective customers to sell new systems and system upgrades.
    • Process all appropriate documentation.
    • Follow-up with customers to ensure complete satisfaction.
    • Generate proposals.
    • All other miscellaneous responsibilities and other job duties as assigned.

     

    Job Requirements:

    Outside Sales Representative must have:

    • 1-2 years of experience in outside sales preferred.
    • Effective outside sales, customer service, and communication skills.
    • Base knowledge of security systems preferred.
    • Self-starter and have excellent follow-up skills.
    • Knowledge of the Catskill area preferred.
    • Valid driver’s license.
    • High school or equivalent degree
