Summary:

The Pre/Post Endoscopy RN responsibilities include:

• RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
• RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
• RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
• RN is also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

For this position, we strongly prefer at least 1 year RN experience in the ICU, PreOp/PACU or Endoscopy experience. This position will be set in the Endoscopy unit focused on Pre - and Post-Endoscopy patient care.

Minimum Qualifications:

Certifications and Licensures:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RN (Registered Nurse)
• ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department
• Preferred Nurse Specialty

Education:

• Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing
• Preferred Bachelor's Nursing
