Joining the Presales Technical Consultant team at HP means becoming an integral part of a dynamic group of professionals. Collaborating closely with fellow Technical Consultants and Sales Account Managers, you'll play a crucial role in helping HP customers grasp the value of our hardware and solutions while overcoming technical obstacles in the sales process. Our environment is fast-paced, fostering collaboration and relentless pursuit of shared goals.

Your Responsibilities

As a Presales Technical Consultant, your primary responsibility will be engaging directly with customers to showcase HP hardware, services, and solutions. By deeply understanding customer needs, you'll adeptly position technical solutions to address their business needs. Delivering technical presentations on a wide spectrum of HP solutions, you'll establish trust as a reliable technical advisor. Furthermore, you'll work closely with the sales team, contributing to both new business acquisition and customer retention efforts.

What We Seek

• University or bachelor's degree (preferred), along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Successful candidates will excel in building robust relationships with technical decision-makers, possess a comprehensive understanding of the IT industry and its key technologies, and demonstrate exceptional communication skills.
• Experience with Modern Desktop and Modern Management is highly desirable, as is a background in service sales and Presales technical support.
• Certifications in Modern management/desktop, Security, Cloud, and AI a plus.
• We value candidates who exhibit a strong drive for self-improvement and can effectively balance customer engagement with continuous technical skill development.
• A thriving Presales Technical Consultant at HP is expected to possess in-depth knowledge of HP hardware and solutions.
• Additionally, candidates should either possess or be committed to acquiring industry expertise in areas such as IT security, OS deployment, and driver management.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $130,550.00 - $177,0.00 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
