2.1 Function

3 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
3.1 Ensure the organization uses technology to remain competitive;
3.2 Ensures hardware and software are current, up to date, and support the business;
3.3 Conducts routine evaluations of the network to ensure the security of data, network access, disaster recovery, and backup systems;
3.4 Plan, coordinate and direct research into upgrades and maintenance;
3.5 Direct the IT work. This includes installation and upgrading of hardware and software, programming and systems design, and development of computer networks;
3.6 Stays abreast of latest technology to ensure proper information flow throughout the organization;
3.7 Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and deliver them.
3.8 Direct daily operation of department. Analyze work flow, establish priorities, develop standards and set deadlines;

7 QUALIFICATIONS
7.1 High school diploma or equivalent.
7.2 Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field.
7.3 5 years of manufacturing experience.
7.4 Ability to Manage multiple projects at one time.

7.6 Proficient in Microsoft server and networking.
7.7 Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
