Human Learning Systems (HLS) is seeking a pool of qualified candidates for current and future (Job Corps) Center Director positions at a Job Corps Center in the US.
Summary of Duties:
The Center Director is accountable to the HLS President for the fulfillment of the function and responsibilities inherent in this position. The Center Director coordinates the operations and activities of the center operations with the senior management team. The Center Director will provide management team development and support. The Center Director will maintain positive working relationships with representatives of the United States Government, the general public and businesses and industry in the local community.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
Overall contract compliance and uniformity in application of DOL, Corporate and Regional Office guidelines: Oversees the communication and immediate application of all directives put forth by the DOL and/or the Corporate Office. Ensures that Center exceeds expectations outlined in the contract between the DOL and the Corporation. Monitors and oversees Center’s fiscal expenditures, leading to a balanced budget. Ensures that center resources are effectively and appropriately distributed. Monitors and provides departmental guidance to all programmatic and administration areas of center operations.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree, and five years of experience in program management, with emphasis in education, career technical training or other youth services. Master’s Degree preferred.
