KVC Health Systems is seeking a Regional Director of Development, who will be responsible for securing individual gifts and corporate sponsorship to support KVC Nebraska.
The Regional Director of Development:
- leads all fundraising initiatives to meet annual goals set by the President of KVC Nebraska and the VP of Development.
- manages a portfolio of corporate and mid-level donors and organizes 2-3 annual events with various teams on appeals and events to secure funds for children and families served by KVC Nebraska.
- will establish and foster collaborative working relationships with the Foundation team, the KVC Nebraska team, the Development Committee, volunteers, and others, as appropriate, to achieve fundraising objectives.
- Bachelor's degree required from an accredited institution.
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional fundraising experience including demonstrating success in corporate sponsorship, and major gift fundraising.
- Experience with fundraising and data management systems; Raiser's Edge is highly desirable.
- Experience with moves management including, but not limited to, prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
- Experience with developing events chairs and recruiting/coordinating volunteer committees.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with donors and other stakeholders.
- Strong organization and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proven track record of working with high net-worth individuals and C-Suite executives as part of special events.
- Ability to work on selected weekdays, nights and weekend evenings as required.
- Flexibility and willingness to assume new tasks and special projects.
- Passion for the mission of KVC Nebraska to enrich and enhance the lives of Nebraska families.
