Systems Consultant/Engineering Director oversees the design of enablement plans and configuration specifications and installation operations to implement integrated hardware and software systems and products purchased by customers. Develops standard processes and methodologies to prototype and test proposed solutions for feasibility, reliability, and quality. Being an Systems Consultant/Engineering Director directs the development of program and system specifications to meet customers' technical requirements and guide the enablement, configuration, or coding of products and solutions. Ensures the delivery of technical information, documentation, requirements, and cost estimates to sales teams to use in proposals, quotes, and statements of work meet sales cycle and project timeline requirements. Additionally, Systems Consultant/Engineering Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Systems Consultant/Engineering Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Systems Consultant/Engineering Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     Job Summary : 

    The Director of Operations will oversee the day-to-day activities of the company, ensuring that the organization is managed and performing efficiently and effectively.


    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    • Participates in the hiring and training of departmental managers.
    • Organizes and oversees the work and schedules of departmental managers.
    • Works closely with functional partners on production schedule, resource management, improvement implementation
    • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.  
    • Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy. 


    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Serves as a key member of the CTS Leadership Team while directing financial goals, objectives, and budgets to ensure effective utilization of labor, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital
    • Oversees execution of tactical day-to-day activities to meet customer demand and delivery schedules.
    • Establishes quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards by which the company’s efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated; identifies opportunities for improvement.
    • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business procedures within the Production Operations teams.
    • Implements policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations.   
    • Ensures work environments are adequate and safe.  
    • Oversees manufacturing, production control and EH&S, ensuring each is reaching goals set by departmental and company leadership. 
    • Plans, directs, controls, implements, evaluates, monitors, and forecasts budgets and resources in each division to achieve financial objectives.  
    • Communicates and explains new directives, policies, or procedures to managers; for major changes, meets with entire operations staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain morale.
    • Improves customer service and satisfaction through policy and procedural changes. 
    • Leads coordination and integration of efforts among operations, engineering, project management, purchasing, materials, technology, and quality divisions to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business processes. 
    • Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community. 
    • Performs other related duties as assigned. 

    Requirements

    Required Skills/Abilities: 

    • Thorough understanding of practices, theories, and policies involved in business and manufacturing.
    • Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. 
    • Superior managerial and diplomacy skills.
    • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.  
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.


    Education and Experience:

    • Master’s degree in Business Administration preferred.  
    • Extensive and diversified background with at least 10 years of related experience in engineering AND/OR manufacturing environment. 
    • At least 5 years of Operations Management experience 


    Physical Requirements: 

    • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
