SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position manages both financial & accounting staff in both the United States and Mexico. The position is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this staff. The position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning work, directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving personnel problems.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
A bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or Accounting is required. A Master's degree in business administration is preferred. A CPA certification is required. No less than 10 years of experience in Finance and Accounting leading and managing Finance and Accounting professionals. Finance experience in an automotive tier 1 company is required. Spanish fluency preferred.
LANGUAGE and COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required. The position requires the ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical reports, financial reports, and legal documents. The ability to effectively respond to inquiries from employees, regulatory agencies, executives or members of the business community. Must have the ability to write presentations, internal communications and process manuals and instructions that conform to prescribed style and format. Have the ability to effectively present and communicate information to all levels of the business & external audiences.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical and financial concepts used for writing and interpreting metrics, reading and writing financial reports and creating and maintaining department budgets. Must have a high level of capability with Microsoft Excel and Excel equations and concepts.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
