Systems Consultant/Engineering Manager oversees the design of enablement plans and configuration specifications and installation operations to implement integrated hardware and software systems and products purchased by customers. Develops standard processes and methodologies to prototype and test proposed solutions for feasibility, reliability, and quality. Being an Systems Consultant/Engineering Manager directs the development of program and system specifications to meet customers' technical requirements and guide the enablement, configuration, or coding of products and solutions. Ensures the delivery of technical information, documentation, requirements, and cost estimates to sales teams to use in proposals, quotes, and statements of work meet sales cycle and project timeline requirements. Additionally, Systems Consultant/Engineering Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Job Purpose: To plan, direct and coordinate various aspects of this manufacturing facility, thereby ensuring that the operations run smoothly and according to company policy. Assure compliance to SQF and Food Safety initiatives by making it part of our culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct supervision of R&D, Procurement, HR, Accounting/Office Managers, and IT.
Maximize product safety and quality.
Create an SQF and Food Safety culture.
Support Quality Assurance Manager in strategy designed to maintain high product and ingredient quality level. Oversight of Food Defense Program.
Provide support to SQF Practitioner making sure others are on track with SQF initiatives.
Support the QA Department and drive quality programs implemented in the plant.
Participate on the HACCP Team.
Qualifications & Skills:
•Bachelor of Science
•5 plus years’ experience as Plant Manager, General Manager or Operations Manager.
•Refrigerated/ready to eat food manufacturing experience required.
Must have the following certifications:
HACCP certification
•USDA/FDA and SQF experience
•Food Safety and GMP knowledge.
