Systems Consultant/Engineering Manager oversees the design of enablement plans and configuration specifications and installation operations to implement integrated hardware and software systems and products purchased by customers. Develops standard processes and methodologies to prototype and test proposed solutions for feasibility, reliability, and quality. Summary: The Quality Systems Manager is responsible for the auditing, maintaining, and documenting of all the Food Safety programs in relationship to ISO9001, ISO2200.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
1. Document creation, modification, review, and auditing for timeliness.
2. Perform internal audits for both systems (ISO 22000 and ISO 9001).
3. Maintain Organic, Gluten Free and Kosher Certifications.
4. Lead and perform Mock recalls, report findings.
5. Perform external audits of external providers.
6. Perform Management reviews twice a year for both standards and according to standard requirements.
7. Maintain the internal audit corrective action log.
8. Follow up on corrective actions for internal audits.
9. Give food safety and quality training through Alchemy.
10. Be a Participating member of the Food safety and food quality team.
11. Maintain all HACCP documentation and requirements for the HACCP Procedures.
12. Prepare for outside audits and lead the audits.
13. Prepare and distribute the Food Safety objectives.
14. Train internal auditors for both standards.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in the food industry preferred.
• 3-5 years’ experience in Quality Systems Management required.
• HACCP certified; internal auditor certified preferred.
Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree required, concentration in Dairy or Food Science
• Computer software experience in Microsoft Office
• Strong communication abilities, written and verbal.
• HACCP and Internal Auditor certification preferred.
Professional Certification:
• ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 Standard training and lead internal auditor training for both.
