Systems Consultant/Engineering Manager oversees the design of enablement plans and configuration specifications and installation operations to implement integrated hardware and software systems and products purchased by customers. Develops standard processes and methodologies to prototype and test proposed solutions for feasibility, reliability, and quality. Being an Systems Consultant/Engineering Manager directs the development of program and system specifications to meet customers' technical requirements and guide the enablement, configuration, or coding of products and solutions. Responsible for support of all end users (staff and students) in the use of technology services and resources at the College's on campus and off campus centers, using remote management software and/or by traveling to centers; install software on computers and distribute computers and peripherals within college locations; troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems for all college end users; performs backup procedures for College information systems; works with vendors to coordinate service calls and replacement of hardware and software; provide training to staff for software and hardware usage; assists in planning for the annual technology replacement plan; keeps electronic records of equipment checkouts; manage account creation and security access permissions within the various systems; must be willing to upgrade skills required to maintain job currency; must be willing to work evenings and weekends as required during critical periods; perform other related duties as assigned.
Entry Salary: $45,402.00/annualStandard Work Week: 35 hours
