Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, code, test, and debug system software for embedded systems. 2. Review code and design, and provide constructive feedback to team members. 3. Analyze and enhance system performance and efficiency. 4. Support software QA and optimize I/O performance. 5. Interface with hardware design and development teams. 6. Provide post-production support by identifying and rectifying software defects. 7. Develop and implement effective strategies for integrating and managing embedded systems. 8. Lead and mentor junior engineers to foster skill development and efficient teamwork. 9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives and timelines. 10. Stay abreast of the latest development in the field of embedded systems and incorporate new technologies as appropriate.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded C/C programming. 3. Proficiency in working with DSPs, FPGAs, and Microcontrollers. 4. Extensive experience using debugging tools such as emulators. 5. Solid experience in industrial manufacturing is a must. 6. Demonstrated experience with motor control systems. 7. Excellent knowledge of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces, and hardware subsystems. 8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 10. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple concurrent projects. 11. Proven ability to lead and mentor junior engineers. 12. A proactive approach with a strong sense of urgency and a competitive drive to get things done, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and on budget.
