Description:
As our Sr. System Engineer, you will develop electromechanical and hydromechanical actuation design solutions for commercial and defense related aircraft flight control and utility actuation applications. You will establish and manage requirements database aspects for critical aircraft actuation systems that include DO-178 and DO-254 certified software and electronics and support the development process through all phases from proposals to certification completion. You will also develop system architectures for integrated actuation sub-systems, and generate associated schematics, diagrams and descriptions to support contracted programs and new business proposals.
Skills & Qualifications:
*BS, Engineering, Computer Science or related field
*6 years of experience in systems engineering and/or related tasks within electrical, mechanical and embedded systems
*Strong skills working with DOORS for requirements management with relationship to putting requirements documents into a database and parsing them out to proper skews
*Strong preference to have exposure to projects that have been certified with DO-178B, DO-254 or other related aircraft software certs
*Some exposure to simulation and mathematics based modeling with MATLAB/Simulink is preferred
