Headwater Engineered Systems is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support all operations at the Abernathy, Texas facility. The Headwater Engineered Systems facility provides engineered-to-order applications and design support, manufacturing services, field service, and repair. The factory is equipped with multiple test laboratories and is capable of hydraulic performance, hydrostatic, and NPSH testing of our full range of equipment.

Headwater Engineered Systems is ISO 9001 Certified. We are members of the Hydraulic Institute, National Groundwater Association, Irrigation Association, American Water Well Association, and National Rural Water Association.

The Headwater Engineered Systems Abernathy facility specializes and large machinery fabrication of vertical turbine pumps, and packaged systems. Facility disciplines include Manual and CNC Machining, Multi ton Material handling, Welding, Electrical wiring, Electrical and Hydraulic Testing, Mechanical, and Electrical assembly, and Warehousing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoot and repair various machinery and facility equipment and construction.
• Coordinate with service contractors and technicians for all specialty services and installations.
• Maintain the maintenance budget and spare parts inventory.
• Perform training against new processes and equipment.
• Develop manufacturing processes and equipment by studying product requirements, researching testing methods, and conferring with vendors.
• Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
• Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs.
• Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintain product and company reputation by researching and complying with government regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $85,000.00 per year

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:
