Systems Engineering Director oversees the department responsible for the planning and engineering of an organization's systems infrastructure. Provides leadership to the team and ensures the requirements of the projects/contracts are met. Being a Systems Engineering Director ensures that hardware and/or software are designed and installed in a manner that meets the needs of the organization. Evaluates, designs and develops existing reports/documents for the performance of the systems. Additionally, Systems Engineering Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Systems Engineering Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function.     Physical Effort
    Work requires standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in tiring uncomfortable positions. May work from ladders, scaffolds, and where parts of the systems are in hard-to-reach places. Frequently lifts, carries, and sets up parts and equipment that weigh up to 75 pounds and occasionally objects that weigh over 100 pounds. May lift heavier items with assistance.

    Working Conditions
    Works inside and outside sometimes in bad weather. The work is usually dirty, dusty, and greasy. Is frequently exposed to the possibility of broken bones, electrical shock, burns, etc.
