Systems Engineering Director oversees the department responsible for the planning and engineering of an organization's systems infrastructure. Provides leadership to the team and ensures the requirements of the projects/contracts are met. Being a Systems Engineering Director ensures that hardware and/or software are designed and installed in a manner that meets the needs of the organization. Evaluates, designs and develops existing reports/documents for the performance of the systems. Additionally, Systems Engineering Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Systems Engineering Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. The Director of Engineering and Permitting is responsible for ensuring that products meet design requirements, industry standards, client expectations and comply with requisite industry and quality standards.
Also, the Director of Engineering and Permitting is responsible for preparing and submitting entitlement applications, permits, and agreements that allow for the installation of InProduction material & structures. Knowledge of municipal processes, codes, and ordinances, as well as frequent interactions with local governments and jurisdictions. You will work directly with our CAD designers, Sales, and Project Managers to acquire the proper permits and licenses so our crews can begin work on schedule.
This position reports to the Vice President, Engineering and Fabrication
