Summary of Position: Develop and sustain a Quality Management System (QMS). Oversite of manufacturing quality personnel and all quality initiatives.

Job Specification:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the QA Department in all quality initiatives including training.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a Quality Management System.
• Serves as the primary Quality Control resource for root-cause problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement through effective corrective actions and documentation.
• Interfaces with suppliers and customers concerning quality issues and corrective actions.
• Manage process documentation, reviews, and improvements.
• Lead customer and internal audits
• Identify training and developmental opportunities to help reduce nonconformance rates. Ensure proper training is completed and documented.
• Manages Vendor approval process and establishes supplier quality requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 5 (five) plus years in a Quality Assurance role as Manager or Director with experience in Certifications, Standards, Customer Expectations Audits and Systems.
• Working with a sense of urgency while staying organized and disciplined.
• Experience in a Manufacturing setting with the ability to foster collaboration and teamwork.
• Proven ability to identify and drive continuous quality improvement.
• Ability to communicate effectively between all levels of operations.
