Systems Engineering Director oversees the department responsible for the planning and engineering of an organization's systems infrastructure. Provides leadership to the team and ensures the requirements of the projects/contracts are met. Being a Systems Engineering Director ensures that hardware and/or software are designed and installed in a manner that meets the needs of the organization. Evaluates, designs and develops existing reports/documents for the performance of the systems. Additionally, Systems Engineering Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Systems Engineering Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Systems Engineering Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Inventory Analyst
The ideal candidate should should have a
- Minimum 4 years related experience including good working knowledge of equipment controls (Siemens S7) electrical process equipment, Durr robotics controls and paint shop processes
- Must have an effective background in safety and leadership
- Engineering/Maintenance – plastics painting/machinery manufacturing/process technology/electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic troubleshooting
Main Duties
- Coordination with Production department to assist in departmental deliverables: throughput, quality, and safety.
- Ensure preventative maintenance of equipment is effective and relevant to production requirements through PM audits – update and modify PM system as required
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex equipment failures – assist paint maintenance technicians in developing troubleshooting methods/techniques and understanding of equipment
- Repair all paint plant machinery and review working machinery for improvement opportunities – specify component selection
- Record machine maintenance information – analyze data and develop improvement plans
- Robot HMI/teach pendant troubleshooting and programming
- SAP maintenance specific management software
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
