M&J Engineering, P.C. is seeking a full time Commissioning Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical systems) and systems integration. Excellent communications and client relations skills are a must, with the ability to manage a large staff of field personnel and work as a team player.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily on-site construction management and site inspections.
• Provides technical review of construction plans, specifications, and project changes for constructability and practicality.
• Responsible for overall site safety, permit condition compliance, and coordination with other agencies.
• Monitors contractor performance, schedule, overall responsiveness, and effectiveness.
• Maintain project goals regarding cost, schedule, quality, etc.

Qualifications

• Electrical or Mechanical Engineer with MTA/TBTA experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or a closely related field.
• NY Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred
