Job Description:

SAP Data Systems Engineering Expert positions offered by E. & J. Gallo Winery (Modesto, CA). Transform data into a format that can be easily analyzed and deploy data products in a

multiplatform ecosystem, with specific focus on SAP systems, data and tools. Develop,

maintain, and test data pipelines for data generation. Scale computational environments,

establishes cloud infrastructure, integration and design across the development team as well

as inform, develop, and deploy microservices and scale data science models. Design, develop

and test the next generation of SAP systems integrations. Identify opportunities for

improvement and recommend solutions. Influence Data Engineering team and implement

new processes.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, MIS, Math, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Data Sciences, Economics, Physics or a related field and 5 years of experience in the position offered or 5 years of experience using Oracle, Hana, MsSQL, Postgres, Neo4j or RedShift. Also requires 5 years of experience: writing ANSI SQL queries; designing, engineering, troubleshooting and developing relational SQL or NoSQL databases, including Postgres and DynamoDB; and designing, engineering, troubleshooting and developing data pipeline and workflow management tools. In lieu of the above, the company will accept a master's or foreign equivalent degree in above mentioned fields and 3 years of experience as stated. Also requires 3 years of experience: programming in Python and Java; designing, engineering, troubleshooting and developing stream-processing systems; designing, engineering, troubleshooting and developing object oriented and object function scripting languages; designing, engineering, troubleshooting and developing NoSQL (mongo and dynamoDB) and streaming data technologies (Kafka); and designing, developing and testing next generation of SAP systems integrations. Employee reports to office in Modesto, CA but may telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
