The Shutter Installation Supervisor plays a critical role in managing the day-to-day installation processes, addressing on-site challenges, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work closely with both our internal teams and external partners.

Supervising all shutter installation crews in Charlotte and Sarasota County, FL

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Daily Operations Management: Oversee daily installations, ensuring all projects are executed according to plan. Address any on-the-job issues directly, including challenges specific to Call Back Warranty (CBW).

• Customer Interaction: Handle escalated customer issues promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Work directly with customers to approve plant change orders and resolve any concerns.

• Team Support: Respond to any supervisor-needed requests from the company and manage clean-up for projects related to installers no longer with the company.

• Safety and Compliance: Ensure on-the-job safety is a priority, manage property incidents, and compile reports on any issues.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the Scheduling Team to monitor jobs in process or paused, particularly those where the scheduled completion date has passed. Collaborate with electricians and other technical staff to resolve on-the-job issues.

• Operational Efficiency: Implement strategies to improve operational processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all installation projects.

Required Skills/ Abilities:

• Proven experience in an installation supervision role, preferably within the hurricane shutter installation sector.
• Strong understanding of installation processes, safety regulations, and customer service principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage customer escalations effectively.
• Knowledge of project management tools and software.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Valid clean driver's license
