Systems Engineering Technician jobs in High Point, NC

Southeast Handling Systems is looking for a Service Technician for our High Point Location!

This will be a FORKLIFT TECHNICIAN working on Bobcat equipment. Previous mechanical experience preferred*

• Troubleshoots mechanical and electrical equipment, performs repairs and scheduled maintenance work based on customer needs and requirements.
• Analyzes and diagnoses customer equipment problems and breakdowns. Recommends the correct service and repair actions to resolve equipment performance problems.
• Makes necessary repairs to customer and SHS forklifts and industrial, material handling and people moving equipment.
• Examines safety devices, equipment and systems on equipment making adjustments as needed.
• Provides preventative maintenance including lubricating moving parts.
• Drives and operates repaired truck to verify conformance to specifications.
• Observes all SHS and customer policies and safety procedures. Assures that hazardous waste is properly disposed.
• Accurately and neatly documents all work. Submits all paperwork in a timely fashion or at completion of each job.
• Efficiently performs scheduled equipment maintenance per customer contract. Performs a thorough examination of the equipment, identifies any necessary problems or repairs. Discusses any problems or repairs with the customer. Clearly documents any needed repairs on customer signed copy of paperwork.
• Provides well-maintained personal tools required to perform equipment service.
• Keeps all work areas clean and hazard-free.
• Remain drug and alcohol free during all work times. Inform supervisor/manager of any prescription drugs that may interfere with the ability to work safely.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
