As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Repair Specialist, Maintenance Mechanic), you'll perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance. This includes observing devices in operation to locate the root cause of problems, dismantling devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, and repairing or replacing these parts. You may be required to operate multiple machining operations such as lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts. You'll also be tasked with updating records, troubleshooting control systems, and utilizing predictive maintenance technologies.
