We are looking for a hands-on manager with strong technical knowledge in software development, operating systems, networking and cybersecurity to provide a powerful combination of leadership, operational support and mentoring for our agent engineering staff. In this role you will work with a geographically distributed team of developers that have built native platform agents in modern C across our three biggest platforms: Windows, Linux and MAC. Our goal is to “own the endpoint” from a security perspective and as such our agent teams are responsible for all software that runs on the endpoint in the customer environment.

7 years of engineering experience as an individual contributor. You have built customer facing products.
2 years of experience as an engineering manager. You have people managed before and have directly managed at least 3 ENGs.
Ability to collaborate with our cross-functional partners in Product Management, Detection Research and other engineering teams to prioritize roadmap items and deliver outstanding results.
Understanding of computer science and networking fundamentals

Understanding of Scrum/Kanban and how to apply them pragmatically with a team to drive progress.
Knowledge and understanding of computer security concepts such as penetration testing, vulnerability analysis and prevention, exploit prevention, reverse engineering, etc.
Prior experience managing a team building products using a systems programming oriented language such as C/C or Rust.
