Systems Support Assistant jobs in Vallejo, CA

Our Systems Support Specialist provides a variety of administrative and technical services to company employees as they navigate the various programs, apps, software platforms and computer functions.  Such services include but are not limited to: managing access and permissions in Point of Sale and inventory management systems, assisting with various technical issues, reviewing and analyzing data to solve problems, issuing company-owned devices to employees, assisting with employee onboarding, etc.

Must be willing to travel approximately 50% of the time to multiple worksites; primary headquarters will be in Concord, CA

Work Schedule: Varies based on needs of the business. Typically, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm with occasional evening or weekend work for special projects.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00/hour depending on experience

Essential Job Functions:

Physical Requirements: 

• Ability to sit for long periods.
• Ability to occasionally lift items up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to regularly use a computer.
• Ability to crouch, stoop, etc. to install various technical devices, cables, etc.

Required Duties:

• Work with employees, managers, vendors, and other contacts to set up user profiles in company email systems, POS systems, and other accounts.
• Troubleshoot issues within various systems including following up with 3rd party solutions on fixes.
• Assist in store, grow, and manufacturing setup with hardware and software.
• Work on spreadsheets to update databases within various systems.
• Assist in creating SOPs and reviewing reports for verification.
• Meet with 3rd party solutions to communicate feature requests, bugs, and upcoming locations.

Education/Experience:

• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills with strong grasp of VLOOKUP formulas.
• Seed to Sale experience, Retail POS, and/or Inventory Management experience is desired.
• Metric experience is a huge plus. 
• Intermediate to Advanced understanding of API’s and how various systems communicate with each other.

Skills and Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent preferred.
• This position may be required to work in multiple locations based on business needs.
• Selected candidate will be required to complete a post offer, pre-employment background check.
