GET TO KNOW THE ROLE

The Table Games Dealer is responsible for conducting and controlling assigned games according to the Casino and Departmental Policies and Procedures. Knowledge, skills and experience dealing 1 Major Game: Roulette, Blackjack or Craps and at least 1 Minor Game: Pai Gow, Heads Up Holdem, Ez Bacc or High Card Flush.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Exemplifies MCR’s values and set a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism.
• Conduct the assigned game according to departmental policies and procedures.
• Handle guest transactions for buy-ins and payoffs.
• Verify fills and credits to game.
• Notify Floor Supervisor of any irregularities noted in guest play and of other transactions during shift.
• Creates, maintains, and facilitates a positive and safe work environment; promotes positive team member relations and reports issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• One (1) year of dealing experience.
• Dealing experience may be waived upon successful completion of training course at Muckleshoot Casino Resort.

HOW YOU’LL BE SUCCESSFUL

• Ability to follow instructions and implement tasks given.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Read, write and speak English fluently.
• Must be able to stand/walk for extended period of time, or throughout shift.

WHAT TO EXPECT

• Availability – Ability to work different shifts, holidays, weekends, and nights to support a 24/7 operation.
• Physical – Ability to maneuver in all areas of casino, ascent/descent from stairs, frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching, and/or prolonged periods of time focusing on tasks. Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. May regularly need to lift/ move, push or pull up material or boxes necessary to the job function, with or without assistance.
• Environment – Exposure to environmental tobacco smoke (ETS) while working and traversing on the gaming floor.
