Position Summary: Drive all stages of a full cycle recruiting and onboarding including reviewing applicants, interviewing, hiring, skills evaluation/testing, background and drug screening, and reference checks utilizing excellent judgment and discretion. Next deploy excellent internal customer service by facilitating a smooth orientation process for new hires on their first day, making them feel like part of the team.
This is an hourly non-exempt position starting at $20 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a strong understanding of position, roles, requirements.
- Partner with hiring managers and key stakeholders to determine staffing needs.
- Strong Talent acquisition acumen - spearhead the recruitment function (job postings, resume/application screening & selection, phone interviews)
- Creates, sends, and monitors all offers sent.
- Oversees the background clearance and pre-employment drug screen processes.
- Coordinates and administers the implementation of employee onboarding and orientation functions to ensure a great first impression.
- Identifies alternate candidate sources such as cold calling, recruiting calls, referral recruiting and online social networking when appropriate.
- Maintains and updates HRIS systems recruiting application communication functionality.
- Coordinates new hires uniform orders.
- Assembles all Team member employee records and medical files.
- Other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Skills and Qualifications:
- At least two (2) years proven experience as an In-house Recruiter.
- Excellent phone skills
- Strong communication skills
- Exceptional organizations skills
- Hands-on experience using HRIS and ATS systems (preferred, Paycor)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Outlook
- Demonstrates business acumen, professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Demonstrates analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate in an effective, positive manner with executives, managers, and individual contributors in a team environment.
- Demonstrates effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization with diplomacy and tact.
- Demonstrates superior data entry, organizational, time management and follow up skills.
- Must be team oriented, possess a positive attitude and collaborate effectively with others to achieve goals in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
