Talent Management Manager manages the development, implementation, and administration of programs that evaluate, measure, enhance and improve employee performance. Utilizes assessments to evaluate and identify the current and emerging skills, competencies, and behaviors required to achieve desired organizational results and prepare for future needs. Being a Talent Management Manager leads the design of performance management strategies and processes that measure outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and align teams to organizational goals. Establishes cross-functional synergies that provide training and development resources needed to achieve workforce performance improvements. Additionally, Talent Management Manager champions a culture of objective setting and result measurement aligned to pay and rewards using tools, training, and communication. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Talent Management Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Talent Management Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. A Brief Overview
The Manager, Talent Development owns all associate and leadership onboarding and development programs including Safelite orientation, onboarding tools & resources, leadership onboarding and core training classes. They champion development planning efforts, targeted career pathing and unique leadership development programs. They are responsible for the training component of talent building programs and serve as the primary contact for our global partners in correlation to the above-mentioned programs. They will manage all aspects of each workstream to include project planning, scope, content creation, time, cost/budget, vendor relations, metrics and communications. They will coordinate the operational aspects of all programs to include class offerings, marketing, facilitations, cost, etc. This role reports into the Director, Talent and Development.
