Talent Management Manager manages the development, implementation, and administration of programs that evaluate, measure, enhance and improve employee performance. Utilizes assessments to evaluate and identify the current and emerging skills, competencies, and behaviors required to achieve desired organizational results and prepare for future needs. Being a Talent Management Manager leads the design of performance management strategies and processes that measure outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and align teams to organizational goals. Establishes cross-functional synergies that provide training and development resources needed to achieve workforce performance improvements. Additionally, Talent Management Manager champions a culture of objective setting and result measurement aligned to pay and rewards using tools, training, and communication. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Talent Management Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Talent Management Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     The AVP, Talent Management will oversee the recruiting and strategy execution for entry and early career technology talent, including their professional and leadership development within the U.S and Chubb Global Business Service locations as outlined in the Global Technology and Operations Early Talent Framework. This role is accountable for the Global Technology organization as a critical part of the Global Technology Early and Entry-level career program office. 

    Major Duties and Responsibilities

    • Lead the execution of all Global Technology early and entry-level programs including internship, apprentice, technology associate, and associate engineer trainee cadres.
    • Act as an expert while liaising with internal recruiting teams to ensure candidate pools meet the required participant profile while driving the value proposition and messaging throughout the entire recruitment process. 
    • Responsible for enabling the implementation of professional (and leadership) development curriculum.
    • Meet and gather key input through surveys, focus groups, and 1:1’s with participants and their managers to better prioritize design enhancements.
    • Record and track all global participant census data including performance rating and compensation targets.
    • Plan and facilitate virtual and in-person events including the annual graduation ceremony and final project.
    • Maintain strategic partnerships with people managers to understand annual program participant demand forecast. 
    • Maintain strategic partnerships with key colleges, universities, and training program providers. 
    • Participate in the ongoing development of a robust strategy to access talent, including diversification of requirements, recruiting channels, outreach, and partnership with organizations that specialize in racially diverse, underserved, former military and gender equality placement of individuals with development from an array of experiences.
    • Support execution and ongoing design of U.S program talent rotational activity.
    • Establish enhanced processes to provide a positive hiring manager and candidate experience.  Reinforce a continuous improvement mindset around internal processes and approaches to stakeholder management.
    • Accountable for developing, monitoring, and meeting key metrics reflecting the entry and early career recruitment actions and outcomes. 
    • Understand and stay abreast of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and emerging trends in the early career specialty to enhance the effectiveness of our efforts.

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Combination of 7 years of relevant business and talent experience required.  
    • Experience and comfort with maintaining partnerships and stakeholder management.
    • Technical acumen or direct experience with supporting a technology team preferred.
    • Demonstrated track record of success in executing technical HR tactics for early career community.
    • Proven ability to influence others and build relationships internally in a matrix organization required.
    • Proven experience as a company representative and external ambassador for the organization required.
    • Excellent communication skills and highly effective in stakeholder engagement required.
    • College Degree encouraged. Masters or similar program graduate preferred.
