Talent Management Manager manages the development, implementation, and administration of programs that evaluate, measure, enhance and improve employee performance. Utilizes assessments to evaluate and identify the current and emerging skills, competencies, and behaviors required to achieve desired organizational results and prepare for future needs. Being a Talent Management Manager leads the design of performance management strategies and processes that measure outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and align teams to organizational goals. Establishes cross-functional synergies that provide training and development resources needed to achieve workforce performance improvements. Additionally, Talent Management Manager champions a culture of objective setting and result measurement aligned to pay and rewards using tools, training, and communication. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Talent Management Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Talent Management Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     The Position
    Under the direction of the HR Director and President/CEO, the Talent Management Specialist leads implementation of the organization's talent management processes. This includes executive leadership support, talent acquisition and employee experience initiatives. The leader in this role maintains high personal standards, a high degree of confidentiality and customer service, and carrying out the mission and values of Greater Midland.

    Major Job Responsibilities

    • Lead the talent acquisition effort for Greater Midland. Manage an effective and inclusive recruitment approach, process requests, onboard new employees and evaluate the work environment experience through ongoing surveys and assessments.
    • Manage risk of talent acquisition efforts by ensuring legal and procedural compliance to

    Employment Policies as detailed in our Employee Handbook.

    • Provide Executive Leadership Team with data that defines the employee experience for their staff.
    • Partner with Leadership Network Team to maintain accurate and current organizational charts, job descriptions, competencies and aligned interview questions.
    • Support HR Director to facilitate updates and accuracy of the Greater Midland Scorecard metrics.
    • Support President/CEO in administrative responsibilities, including meeting and calendar management, collaboration with other internal and external stakeholders, and internal communications.
    • Serve as executive administrator to the Board of Trustees for meeting logistics, communications and documentation of meeting information and records.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline and drive efficiencies within the position’s responsibilities.
    • Serve Greater Midland staff by demonstrating behaviors aligned with Greater Midland’s values.

    Qualification Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in Human Resources, Business,

    Communications or related field. PHR certification preferred.

    • Strong attention to detail, organization and customer service.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and database management.
