AS A CONTRACT MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, YOU WILL MAINTAIN THE CONTRACT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM BY ENSURING CURRENT CONTRACTS, ADDENDUMS, AND/OR FEE SCHEDULES ARE ENTERED INTO THE SYSTEM AND ARE ACCURATE; ANALYSES FACILITY MANAGED CARE CONTRACTS TO DETERMINE ACCURACY OF PAYMENTS RECEIVED TO CODES BILLED; PROVIDES A VARIETY OF REPORTS FROM THE CONTRACT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM REGARDING PAYER PERFORMANCE, UNDERPAYMENTS, “LESSER THAN” CHARGES, ETC.; PERFORMS PAYMENT MODELING BASED ON POTENTIAL CHANGES TO PAYER CONTRACTS;
MAKES RECOMMENDATIONS TO PREVENT FUTURE LOSSES. PROVIDES INFORMATION TO ASSIST FACILITY IN MANAGED CARE CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS.
