Being a Talent Management Specialist designs performance management strategies and processes that measure outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and align teams to organizational goals. Identifies the types of training and development and resources needed to achieve workforce performance improvements. Additionally, Talent Management Specialist encourages a culture of objective setting and result measurement aligned to pay and rewards using tools, training, and communication. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Talent Management Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     Day-to-Day as Talent Acquisition Specialist: 

    • Discuss and establish role requirements and qualifications with internal hiring managers 
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers 
    • Manage Recruiting pipeline in HRIS system, ADP Workforce Now 
    • Execute on all phases of recruiting process, including job postings, candidate screenings, and coordinating and scheduling follow up interviews throughout the candidate life cycle 
    • Conduct background check screenings and reference calls 
    • Assist with creating new jobs and updating job descriptions
    • Responsible for all aspects of employee onboarding, from pre-hire, first day orientation, and post hire 
    • Cross train on several core HR processes, including payroll, benefits administration, and other tasks as needed 
    • Develop and implement HR policies throughout the organization 
    • Respond to employee inquiries and requests
    • Perform other related duties as required and assigned to assist the department 

    What You Bring as Talent Acquisition Specialist

    • 2 years of experience in Recruiting 
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Human Resources, or related field/experience 
    • Ability to work with a team and coordinate team activities, interviews, and meetings 
    • Outstanding customer service and relationship building skills 
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to read, analyze, interpret, and present information 
    • Well organized and detail oriented 
    • Knowledge of hiring strategies, labor laws, and employment equity in the recruitment process 
    • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems
    • Demonstrated ability to multi-task effectively and adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
    • Bonus Skills: Experience with ADP Workforce Now, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Zip recruiter, payroll and benefits, PHR/SHRM Certification

    Location: This role is hybrid, based out of our Austin office.

     

    Compensation: The annual base for this role is $65,000-$70,000, plus an annual bonus (paid quarterly) estimated at $20,000. The total compensation for this role is $85,000- $90,000, including bonus.
