Talent Management Specialist jobs in Cedar Rapids, IA

Function:
Assists Talent Management (TM) staff with a wide range of clerical and administrative duties related to TM and Human Resources (HR) programs.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provides clerical support for TM/HR programs while adhering to established policies and procedures. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Creating new hire folders, printing/copying, data entry, posting internal communications, scheduling trainings and interviews.
2. Enters employee and organizational data into online employee management system.
3. Scans HR-related files and uploads them appropriately into online employee management system.
4. Assists with special projects as assigned and other responsibilities reasonably related to this position.

Hours: Approximately 15-20 hours of work per week is expected, although specific work hours are generally flexible during semesters as well as breaks (within the hours of 8:00-5:00, M-F). This is an ongoing position and may continue until student’s graduation. This position holds a business need for summer months availability.

Qualifications: Must be enrolled as a full-time (12 credits) University of Iowa student. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft office programs. High level of productivity, accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently required.

Preferred Qualifications: Preference for those with related education, interest, or experience in HR/TM or non-profit/fundraising career fields; available to work over the summer
