We are looking for a Talent Management Specialist for our new Talent Management unit (Associate/Consultant) for the Consulting Team. You’ll be the first point of contact for all HR topics for (Junior) Associates and (Junior) Consultants from certain offices in G&A. In that capacity, you will be responsible for the career development of these cohorts as well as for personnel planning and will thus support our consultants along their central career processes in a role similar to that of an HR Business Partner.
As part of personnel planning, you’ll ensure that our Associates and Consultants are optimally placed on projects, selecting consultants to best align with their personal career perspectives and meet client needs.
As a member of the core team of the Career Development Committee, you’ll be responsible for supporting in all career development processes, including preparing and following up on career development meetings, preparing the bonus process, and integrating that into the promotion processes of the colleagues you support. In doing so, you will work closely with the respective Career Advisors of the committee.
As a Talent Management Specialist, you’ll act as the central contact for HR inquiries and will connect those needing further consultation with the right person in our HR expertise functions. This is a key interfacing function as a navigator within the HR universe at BCG. For each HR topic, you’ll always foresightedly look for solutions that take into account both business and people needs and keep an eye on the development of our colleagues as a whole. You’ll communicate these decisions independently in a calm and empathic manner and with diplomatic skill.

Ideally, you already have experience in assessing the potential of employees and can thus optimally assign our consultants to the respective client projects and accompany their development in the best possible way.
You are proficient in MS Office software.
Your written and spoken German and English language skills are excellent.
