Talent Management Specialist develops, implements, and administers programs that evaluate, measure, and improve employee performance. Conducts assessment activities to evaluate and identify the current and emerging skills, competencies, and behaviors required to achieve desired organizational results and prepare for future needs. Being a Talent Management Specialist designs performance management strategies and processes that measure outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and align teams to organizational goals. Identifies the types of training and development and resources needed to achieve workforce performance improvements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Design, develop, customize, update, and deliver quality presentations and training materials including, live training (virtual and in person), job aids, workbooks, reference guides, videos, e-learning that have a direct and positive impact on all our employees.
Conduct organizational training needs analyses and makes recommendations regarding training content required to address identified business needs.
Negotiates with and manages external resources to deliver training when required.
Serve as primary administrator for the Learning Management System (LMS), currently Oracle HCM Cloud Fusion and lead efforts to develop a blended learning environment.
Serve as internal organizational development consultant by providing training solutions to meet supervisory, managerial and leadership development needs.
Support activities to launch and complete performance management processes, talent reviews, succession planning and employee engagement surveys.
Work with the business leadership and HR team to conduct needs analysis, consult on training and development initiatives, learning strategy development and deployment, and other talent management and learning activities.
Create and develop reporting on program attendance and other metrics concerning development programs.
Stay abreast of latest trends and shares best practices within the talent development arena.
Support HR team with employee events, community outreach and company communication efforts.
Work with peers across the Hunt Family of Companies to assist in globally aligning training and development initiatives and processes.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years' experience with primary responsibility for developing and delivering non-technical skills training using a blended learning approach in an organizational setting. Experience in managing Learning Management System software preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Certified (or able to be certified) to deliver materials from vendors such as Franklin Covey, DDI, Achieve Global, Korn Ferry, etc. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of organization. Excellent organization, communication, project management, and time-management skills.
