Talent Management Specialist develops, implements, and administers programs that evaluate, measure, and improve employee performance. Conducts assessment activities to evaluate and identify the current and emerging skills, competencies, and behaviors required to achieve desired organizational results and prepare for future needs. Being a Talent Management Specialist designs performance management strategies and processes that measure outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and align teams to organizational goals. Identifies the types of training and development and resources needed to achieve workforce performance improvements. Additionally, Talent Management Specialist encourages a culture of objective setting and result measurement aligned to pay and rewards using tools, training, and communication. The Money Management Program at Friends for Life acts as representative payee for seniors and adults with disabilities who are at risk of losing independence due to their inability to manage financial matters or their vulnerability to being exploited. Some of the people in this program have a stable life with all their needs met for the first time in years. This is a very rewarding position for the right person.
This position will work with clients in an assigned caseload, including but not limited to preparing a simple budget based on each individual's income and expenses, communicating with the client over the telephone, and hopefully saving a portion of monthly income for emergencies and/or enrichment activities. Actions are documented in an online software database system. Support Staff pay all the bills, reconcile accounts and maintain other client files at the program specialist's direction.
The desire to help vulnerable people is a must for this position as well as people and telephone skills. Experience working with people with disabilities/special needs is desired.
