    INSURANCE TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST 

    MCI is looking for an experienced insurance recruiter to help us with our staffing needs and find the right people to continue to grow and expand. You'll network with up-and-coming insurance professionals, identify top talent, and recruit them to our company. Candidates should be established recruiting experts with a background in insurance hiring who are passionate about getting us the best talent in the industry.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

    WHAT DOES A TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST DO? 

    Engage and excite new candidates, guiding them through the entire recruitment life-cycle. You will become an expert on process and productivity-driven recruitment! Learning and growing in your role will be your primary responsibility.

     

    Our Talent Acquisition Specialists are responsible for the following:

    • Establish a success-driven, company-wide recruiting process that will attract top talent to our insurance firm
    • Review resume submissions and make sure the most promising candidates are flagged for consideration
    • Source candidates based upon a broad-based strategy with a focus on direct sourcing.
    • Screen candidates against specific selection criteria, complete written evaluations, and share them with the hiring team.
    • Manage the interview process, ensuring that the hiring team is adequately prepared and candidates are properly and comprehensively evaluated as well as sold on the opportunity.
    • Manage candidates through the process, ensuring an outstanding candidate experience and that necessary approvals are gained.
    • Develop competitive offers, manage offer extensions, and effectively close candidates.
    • Support the onboarding of new hires.
    • Effectively manage and maintain recruitment-related data in a recruitment management system.
    • Schedule interviews and additional skills testing as needed
    • Facilitate salary and benefit package discussions as needed
    • Communicate all offers of employment and denials to job candidates in a timely and professional manner
    • Collaborate with team members to identify and develop key sourcing initiatives to ensure a constant pipeline of talented and diverse applicants.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure the Applicant Tracking System information accurately reflects details of the job opportunity.
    • Other related duties as required

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.

    CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

    • Must be authorized to work in their country of residence (The United States or Canada)
    • Must be willing to submit up to a LEVEL II background and/or security investigation with a fingerprint.  Job offers are contingent on background/security investigation results
