- In this role you will support the Linde U.S. Corporate Income Tax Department in its preparation of Federal, State, and local income tax returns, Federal and State examinations, and its income tax accounting for quarterly and year end financial statement reporting; in addition, you will work closely with Treasury to ensure payments are timely made and cleared
- Ensure accurate and timely estimated income tax payments and reporting income tax returns
- Assist with state and city notices & audits, tax provision calculations and with quarterly and year-end tax provision reporting, per ASC 740, and preparation of monthly stock-based compensation reconciliation & cash tax summaries
- Handle maintenance of payment and due date calendar for the Income Tax Department’s critical deliverables
- Conduct periodic tax depreciation calculations and validation of proper depreciation methods
- Assist with special assignments such as research and analysis as requested, including legislative updates, scenario modeling, and tax technical topics, as well as digitalization improvements to streamline processes and improve analysis
