Tax Accountant jobs in Miami, FL

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join Digital Tax Group based in South Miami, FL! 

Responsibilities:

• Prepare international, federal, state and local income tax returns and amended tax returns.
• Prepare various IRS tax forms such as114 (FBAR), 1042, 1116, 2555, 8938, 5471, 5472, 8233, 8804, 8805, 8858, 8865, 8992, 8993, W-8BEN, W-8BEN-E, SS-4, etc.
• Prepare and review various other tax forms related to tangible tax, sales tax, and payroll tax
• Prepare financial statements including consolidated financial statements.
• Work directly with clients in a wide variety of industries to obtain necessary information to prepare financial statements and tax returns as well as to manage their tax reporting and planning needs
• No travel required

​Qualifications:

• 5 years minimum diversified and current experience in public accounting
• Previous experience QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
• Fundamental knowledge of accounting and tax matters
• Advance level of understanding of Excel including formulas and pivot tables.
• Detail and deadline-oriented
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Type 45 wpm
• Read, write, and speak English and Spanish fluently
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or actively pursuing CPA  or EA licensure

Compensation:

• Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience
• Compensation range is $65,000 – 85,000 plus
• Performance bonuses are paid two times a year
