We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Accountant/Tax Preparer/Audit Clerk to join our team. The right candidate will be friendly & professional, have good time-management skill, be a proficient communicator in both verbal and written form, able to manage client relationships, and work in a fast-paced environment. This employee will mainly be responsible for accounting, tax preparation, and clerking in audit engagements.

Position Overview: The Accountant/Tax Preparer is an entry level position. This position’s responsibilities include but are not limited to the following listed.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Execute accounting and tax duties as assigned.
• Participate in Continuing Education
• Demonstrate a minimum knowledge of accounting and tax practice.
• Maintain PTIN eligibility
• Meet production objectives as assigned.
• Serve as an audit clerk as needed

Entry Level
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 DOE (Depends On Experience).

Supervision Received: This position is supervised by the Station Chief, intermediate rated by Director for Operations and Senior rated by the CEO.

Qualifications & Skills:

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: This position requires an Associate's Degree in accounting or tax and eligible for PTIN assignment.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: The preferred level of education is a Bachelor’s Degree in either business, accounting, finance or tax. The preferred level of experience is any bookkeeping or in public accounting.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
