Education : 0-3 years accounting experience. BS degree in Accounting/Finance.

Experience :

GL accountant responsible for cash, AP, AR, RNI, Insurance Amortizations and expenses entries for various companies . Also, heavily involved in BSS reconciliations and their preparation. Must meet corporate deadlines with accuracy, ownership and understanding.

Knowledge :

Microsoft Word/Excel experience.  Oracle experience a plus

Skills :

Strong, professional communications skills and analytical skills necessary.  Must speak English.

Responsibilities:

Accountant (General)  Develops, implements and/or maintains one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, etc. Reviews and interprets financial reporting requirements, rules and regulations. Balances books and prepares cash flow, income and balance sheet statements. Monitors and develops monthly reports of revenues and expenditures for projects. Provides record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions. Respond to various corporate and plant inquiries. Various tasks and projects as assigned. Prepares journal entries, maintains and reconciles ledger accounts.
