Tax Accountant jobs in York, PA

Musselman & Creager, LLP, a full-service accounting firm with over 40 years serving the Gettysburg area community, is seeking a tax and accounting professional for a client-facing position as we continue to grow and expand.

Responsibilities for Tax/Accounting Professional include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing federal, state and local tax returns, extensions, and projections for various clients (C-Corp, S-Corp, Partnership, Individual, Trust)
• Bookkeeping services for various client
• Perform research to resolve issues
• Build relationships with clients and staff

The ideal candidate would have:

• Minimum education: Associate’s Degree in Accounting or Business
• 2-4 years of professional experience, public accounting preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fundamental knowledge relevant tax law
• Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools, especially QuickBooks
• Detail and deadline-oriented
• Responsive to clients
• Must have excellent client service skills
• Highly motivated
• Ability to work 1/2 day on Saturdays for 10 weeks during the busy tax season
