  • When you join the Cafaro Company you become part of the Cafaro Team and Family.  You will work alongside team members to achieve ambitious and exciting goals every day.   RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare and/or review federal, state, and local partnership and corporate tax returns Collaborate and train accounting staff on various tax research topics and regulation changes Control and organize the tax filing process as well as tax deadline management Ensure compliance with federal, state and local tax regulations Research and respond to any communications with tax regulatory bodies Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures Contribute to special projects as needed SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Accounting CPA certification is highly recommended 3 or more years of federal, state, and local tax preparation Experience supervising staff and reviewing tax returns are highly recommended  Pro-Series or equivalent tax software experience is a must Knowledge in JD Edwards is a plus Proficiency in MS Excel and Word. Excellent organizational and communication skills. The position requires strong analytical and project management skills.
