Job Summary: We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Credentialed Tax Expert to join our team in Palm Bay, FL. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert tax advice, preparing accurate tax returns, and assisting clients in optimizing their tax positions. As a Credentialed Tax Expert, you will play a key role in maintaining our commitment to excellence and client success.
Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth client interviews to gather relevant financial information and assess tax situations.
Prepare and review complex individual and business tax returns in compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
Provide expert advice on tax planning and strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize returns.
Stay updated on changes in tax laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure accurate and timely advice to clients.
Represent clients in communication with tax authorities and assist in resolving tax-related issues.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure the highest level of service and client satisfaction.
Conduct research on specific tax issues and provide recommendations for resolution.
Participate in professional development activities to maintain and enhance credentials.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Active CPA, Enrolled Agent, or other relevant professional tax credentials.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in tax preparation and consulting.
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
